What do we do?

In a nutshell, we find and deliver the right consultants for your projects. When a client approaches us with a need, we:

Finding an assignment

  • Join our network: Register on our website to start receiving alerts for assignments that fit your skills and preferences.
  • Browse open assignments: Check our "Oppdrag" (Assignments) section for detailed listings.
  • Personalized notifications: We tailor email alerts so you only receive relevant offers. You can sign up directly for assignment emails at kons.no/epost-om-oppdrag.

Applying for an assignment

  • Easy application: Each published assignment has an online form or a direct link in our assignment email.
  • Profile review: Our team reviews CV and background for a best-fit assignment.
  • Shortlisting & presentation: If you're a good match, we present your profile to the client and coordinate interviews.

Agreeing to an assignment

  • Contract: We facilitate a contract that outlines scope, duration, rate, and relevant terms (e.g., confidentiality), based on industry best practices.
  • Transparent terms: We follow industry standards and our core processes, so you can trust the clarity and fairness of our agreements.

How to be a Kons consultant

  • Create a profile: Fill out our "Bli leverandør" (Become a supplier/partner) form on the website, including a CV.
  • Stay updated: You can choose to be notified of suitable assignments by email, kons.no/epost-om-oppdrag.

Reporting and invoicing

  • Time reporting: Submit monthly timesheets. The client verifies your reported hours.
  • Invoice: You'll invoice Kons based on the agreed rate and approved hours. We handle billing the end client.
  • Clear and fair: Our payment terms are clearly stated in the contract. We strive for quick and transparent settlements.

How we find consultants

  • Large network: We maintain a deep pool of vetted consultants across various industries and specialties.
  • Targeted search: Once we have your project requirements, we filter by skills, experience, availability, and location.

How you decide

  • Shortlist review: We present CVs or profiles of top candidates, along with our commentary.
  • Interview: You can interview any of the shortlisted consultants to ensure technical and cultural fit.
  • Choose confidently: You make the final call; we only facilitate the process and support your decision-making.

Agreeing to an assignment

  • Simple contracting: Sign an agreement with Kons for the consultant's services. We handle the paperwork and coordinate with the consultant.
  • Defined scope: The contract covers scope, duration, rate, invoicing schedules, and relevant terms (confidentiality, IP, etc.).
  • Quick setup: We value your time, so we streamline the administrative side for a swift start.

During an assignment

  • Ongoing support: Kons remains involved to help with any changes or issues. We will check in with both you and the consultant.
  • Adjust scope: Need to extend or modify the assignment? We'll facilitate amendments smoothly.
  • Quality assurance: We're an extension of your team, ensuring high standards and addressing concerns proactively.

Ending an assignment

  • Offboarding: We coordinate final timesheets, knowledge transfers, and any required exit steps (return of badges, equipment, etc.).
  • Extensions & feedback: If you want to continue with the consultant, we'll handle contract extensions. We also value feedback to improve our services.
  • Wrap-up: Final invoicing is handled by Kons, minimizing your administrative overhead.

  • Time-based or fixed fee: Invoices align with the contract (hourly, daily, or fixed-fee basis).
  • Approved hours: Consultants submit timesheets for your approval before invoicing if required.
  • One vendor: You receive a single invoice from Kons; we handle payment to the consultant.
